Blacksburg, Va. — English Meadows Senior Living has hired Rob Williams as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee Member. Rob is a highly accomplished financial management executive and an awarded communicator and relationship/team builder.
Rob’s career began in the financial services industry, before spending the last 20 years in financial management and leadership roles at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Deloitte Consulting LLP, in Northern Virginia. He has extensive experience with strategic planning, continuous process improvement, data analytics, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and IT system implementation.
He has built cross-functional partnerships and improved the long-term financial sustainability across a broad spectrum of organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Rob is not a stranger to the Senior Living Industry; Growing up in Roanoke, VA, he routinely worked in multiple communities owned and operated by his father, Robert Williams, gaining valuable Caregiver experience.
Rob has a BBA in Finance from Radford University and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland, a Top Secret/SCI clearance, certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME). He is currently pursuing a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification and will be pursuing an MBA in Accounting.
Rob is married to his wife Amy Williams and has 2 children, Cooper & Lucy. Rob’s passions include fly fishing and coaching women’s lacrosse.
